Shaheed Bhagat Singh is one of the most famous martyrs of the Indian independence movement. Shaheed Bhagat Singh was born on the 28th of September 1907 in a Sandhu Jat family in Banga village of Jaranwala Tehsil in the Lyallpur district of the Punjab Province of British India (now in Pakistan’s Punjab province).
