Concurrent List: – Both the Center and the State can make laws for the subjects of this list. If the subjects of law are the same. Eighth Schedule of Indian Constitution | Provision of languages recognized by the constitution. Originally there were 14 languages in the Eighth Schedule. Assamese, Bangla, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu. Sindhi language by 21st constitution amendment act 1967, Konkani, Manipuri and Nepali language by 71st constitution amendment act 1992, Maithili, Santhali, Dogri, Bodo language by 92nd constitution amendment act 2003 were included in this schedule.
